What a wonderful discovery was Hotel Frederick! The feeling of being transported back in history to enjoy the beauty and craftsmanship of historical hotels is experienced in this charming architectural wonder. Enjoy the great bar room and restaurant also!

Susan of Overland Park, KS writes… Great New Year's Eve!

My group of six friends, my husband and I stayed at the Hotel Frederick on New Year's Eve. We had a delicious dinner at the hotel's dining room. This was great! We didn't have to drive anywhere!! Our friends had been upgraded to a suite so we had plenty of room to socialize and toast at midnight. The included breakfast the next morning of fruit and pastries, was delicious. Wonderful stay for New Year's Eve!

Tim & Judy of Kansas City, KS writes… Great Get-away

We had driven past Hotel Frederick so many times on our way to Fayette. On one trip I casually mentioned that it would be fun to stay in an old hotel sometime. For my next birthday, my husband told me to make reservations - we were going to Hotel Frederick!! It was like stepping back in time - just what I loved doing most! From the moment we entered the grand and beautiful lobby, I knew I would love our stay. Our room was huge!! We loved everything about it. All the woodwork, the large shuttered windows overlooking the Missouri River, the stunning rugs laid over the wood flooring, the transom above the door, the beautiful etched glass of the bathroom, even the aroma of the soap that awaited in the soap dishes was amazing! The restaurant was the icing on the cake - we hadn't know about the restaurant, but we were served a delicious meal. That first visit to Hotel Frederick was all I could have wished for. We've been going back now whenever we want a quick get-away and are never disappointed. We highly recommend Hotel Frederick to all of our friends.

Michael of New Albany, OH writes… Nice stay

Stayed at the Fred during parents weekend at Mizzou and glad we did. Bed was comfortable, and really liked the "step back in time" feel. Staff was great, nice, simple breakfast. We like the old feel, even the creaky wooden floors, it was great. Will stay here again for sure.

Beautiful hotel, clean, bed was extremely comfortable. The gentleman at the front desk was warm, welcoming, and informative. Good breakfast was served. It was quiet, we only heard one train go by in the afternoon. We definitely recommend Hotel Frederick!
