Karla of St. Charles, MO writes… Step back in time

We were impressed from the very first steps inside the lobby. This is the kind of beautiful that comes from the warmth of copper, wood, old furniture, ceramic doorknobs, heated tile floors ... It's hard to put into words: totally re-done, but looks as if it's never been touched by the modern world. I can't wait to go back!

Room comfortable, clean, and staff courteous and responsive. Love the ambiance. Prefer staying here to any hotel chain.

We just loved this historic hotel, from the marble floors to the period perfect chandeliers, and we thoroughly enjoyed our farm to table meal in the restaurant (and our delicious specialty cocktails). Our room was nicely appointed and the sheets were super soft high thread count, better than any sheets I own! Best of luck, Hotel Frederick! I hope you become the destination hotel you deserve to be.

My husband and I had the pleasure of staying at The Fred in Boonville MO. This historic hotel was amazing! We were in room 9 which could accomodate up to 6 people with 2 queens and a trundle bed. The bathroom had an antique claw foot tub and was also oufitted with a shower. If you appreciate the workmanship of the past and the history of an era gone by, you will love The Fred. We also enjoyed supper which consisted of salad (the dressing was delicious),
and steak, done to perfection. The hotel also serves a delightful breakfast included with your room. The staff were friendly and helpful. We would love to return some day and spend more time in this area.

Every aspect of the Hotel Frederick was amazing. There was an issue with our TV in our first room. Susan upgraded us and moved us. Our room was clean and beautifully decorated. The atmosphere in the Fred Lounge was so friendly. We ate dinner the first night in the restaurant. Excellent food and service. Thank you to our server, Kate.
The staff is excellent. Thanks to Holly and Josh. Breakfast was very good.
You felt the historic background in every step of this marvelous hotel.
We highly recommend that you make a trip to Boonville and stay here.

Eight rooms were booked for the family to stay after the celebration.
The Boonville Room was used for the event.
The hotel staff did an excellent job setting up the room and catering the event.
The food was buffet style and was well presented and excellent.
Everybody enjoyed the evening and their stay. The rooms were very comfortable.
We would recommend the hotel for this kind of event.
Thanks to all at the Fred, Betty & Eric Owens.

My husband and I were riding the Katy Trail for the first time. The Hotel Frederick was a great place to spend the night - very quaint and historic. All the staff were super friendly and helpful!
The best find was the restaurant. It's been a long time since we have had a meal like this. The chef is truly talented. The dessert was to die for!!!

My sisters and I spent 2 nights at the Hotel Frederick this October for a girl's getaway cycling on the Katy Trail. This was our second trip to stay at the Hotel Frederick and we plan on returning.
The Hotel Frederick is charming with it's historic authenticity yet comfortable. Yes - the wooden floors creak - it's over a hundred years old. Yes- they still use real metal room keys instead of a card to swipe. That was part of the appeal for us. Cyclists will find it catering to their needs. The nutritious breakfast in the morning is a great start for a high energy day. The bar/lounge has a warm cozy feel. The restaurant was being renovated during our trip. I was disappointed. Previous dinners there were delicious.
What will bring me back to the Hotel Frederick however was the hotel staff who were dedicated to providing for their guests needs. Thank you for a lovely stay. See you next year.
