We had a wonderful evening at the hotel. The decor is fabulous and we especially enjoyed the old photography and the bar area. An exceptional dinner was enjoyed at Glenn's. You have a real treasure, we will be back soon!
My husband and I decided to stay here for our first wedding anniversary, and boy were we blown away! Not only was the price amazing, but our room was incredible. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful without being fake. The bartender was also very friendly and made some very tasty drinks. Dinner at Glenn's Cafe was better than I thought it was going to be. The price was right and the food was INCREDIBLE!! Hotel Frederick is the perfect place to get away from the big city rush and just unwind for a day our two. My husband and I have decided to make going here for our anniversary a tradition. We cannot say thank you enough to all the staff for making our stay unforgettable.
We wanted a place a couple of hours from St. Louis to stay and celebrate our birthdays this year. We are so happy to have found Hotel Frederick, a historic, boutique hotel in Boonville. The staff was superb and the room was delightful. Everyone was so nice and helpful. Dinner at Glenn's Cafe was so good on Friday night that we ate there again on Saturday night. Thanks for a great time!

We celebrated another anniversary...our 43rd. Everything was wonderful. We received a warm welcome and our room had Christmas touches, with a tree and poincettia. Food at Glenn's was excellent, as usual. Thanks again.
The Frederick is a true retreat for my family. From the bar with soft comfortable chairs and amazing freshly made to order drinks by the amazing~Jeremiah~to the delicious food at Glenn's. I love the unique rooms with warmed bathroom floors and soft beds. I could go on and on. The Frederick is a place I can relax and be myself.
We came here for Thanksgiving--and our 5th anniversary--and were made to feel as if we had returned to a cozy home. Everyone associated with the Fred was gracious, accomodating and charming to us. The ambience of this splendid old hotel enfolds its guests like an heirloom quilt. Our dining experiences at Glenn's were likewise exemplary. We look forward to our next stay.
We have stayed at the Frederick several times now...and it's still my favorite place to stay. My husband was nice enough to take me to Boonville just to stay at the Fred. Before that, our stay involved a ride on the Katy Trail. Everything was just as great as before.
This was our fifth visit to Hotel Fred and Glenn's Bar and Cafe. As always, it was a perfect, relaxing and flawless visit. Everyone was so accommodating and helpful.
Our last night we had the Chicken Tchoupitoulas special which was fantastic and of course the fried oysters are always a big hit.
What can I say about Glenn's Bar that has not been said by all of the raves and reviews? Jeremiah has a way to make you feel like you are a regular. As far as that goes so do all of the staff at the hotel and cafe. They are all special and possess a truely customer service gift.
We are already planning our next visit.
For the second year in a row, we had the most delicious Thanksgiving dinner and excellent night's stay in one of your wonderful rooms. We are so thankful you do this at Thanksgiving, as we know it is a sacrifice for the workers to come in on that day.
