Blake L. of Olathe, KS writes… Coolest hotel I've ever stayed in!

Beautiful rooms filled with a great mix of antique furniture and modern luxuries. The rooms are nice and clean and the staff was very friendly. I was very sad we only booked one night, and we will definitely be back again soon!

I have been to many nice hotel/B&B's, but HF is one of the most charming hotels I've visited - and that includes Europe. The staff couldn't have been any nicer or more accommodating. They made you feel you were home. The restaurant was top notch and the drinks were great. The décor was inviting and cozy. What a great find in the middle of Missouri and close to the Katy Trail. And we loved the quaint little town of Boonville. I have told all of my friends and a couple of them are going to go for a weekend getaway. My friends and I are ready to go back. Thank you Evan, Holly, Jeremiah, and "Chef" ...Truly a great stay. Don't change a thing.

Ron of Kansas City, KS writes… Great Historic Hotel

We are newlyweds but not for the first time. We were looking for a honeymoon that consisted of a long weekend relaxing. That's what we did. 14 hours of sleep the first night and about 10 the second. The Fred restaurant was great...

John of Kansas City, MO writes… Wonderful

A night at the Frederick Hotel capped a busy weekend and was a wonderful way to start the new week. The reception and dinner were delightful and the KC Royals win that night made it even more special. The friendly staff brought in to serve our group were courteous, thoughtful and engaging. Thanks for making the gathering of friends more meaningful.

Kathryn of Montreal, CA writes… Special Hotel

I stayed here two nights while searching for my ancestors in the area. Even though I was a little early arriving, I was welcomed warmly and checked in immediately. Right from the start was I impressed that they had kept the architectural integrity and charm while providing all the modern amenities.

Jeremiah in the lounge was friendly and a great bartender. I had two dinners in The Fred hotel restaurant, both were nice.

However, it was the service above and beyond for which I am extremely grateful. I was having problems with my rental car and the manager found a garage which would help me on a Saturday morning. My thanks goes out to all the staff for a wonderful stay.

Dana of Parkville, MO writes… Relaxing

My husband and I enjoyed a relaxing weekend away. The room was comfortable and we enjoyed the fish bowl bathroom. The bar was enjoyable as well, with Jeremiah providing us great choices of drinks while watching the baseball playoff with new friends from the hotel.

Eveline of Asheville, NC writes… Comfortable and friendly

We arrived at Hotel Frederick on Saturday after a 13 hour drive. Hotel staff was very friendly and helpful so that all of us settled in quickly. Great trail across the street for walking the dog. The Frederick is a really neat old hotel with comfortable rooms. Loved the radiant heat in the bathroom. Good food & drinks. In the morning the night clerk/baker made coffee and breakfast an hour earlier just so we could get on the road on time. His baked breads are delicious. We've already booked a return stay!

Kim of Jefferson City, MO writes… Such a quaint place to stay!

My husband and I biked from Jefferson City to Boonville and stayed in room 5. We loved the style of the hotel and the way it has been preserved. We had dinner on the front porch and the food was excellent. A wonderful breakfast fueled us for the rest of our bike journey. It was a very clean hotel, the staff took excellent care of us and we would definitely stay there again!
