This is my third time staying in the Frederick on a business trip. It was enjoyable as always. The rooms were tastefully decorated with a mixture of vintage and modern, the staff was friendly, the location convenient, and the restaurant was excellent.
We enjoyed our stay from the moment we walked in the door. We stayed in our same room, #12, and were not disappointed. We love the view of the bridge and the river. We had dinner at Glenn's and ended our evening with nightcaps in the bar. The entire staff is dedicated to making your stay enjoyable. The continental breakfast is a nice touch, but even without it the Hotel Frederick is a bargain!
We were treated like family. Special family. We enjoyed the fixtures and furniture of days gone by with current convenience. The clerks were wonderfully helpful. Fully enjoyed!
Another great stay at the Hotel Frederick. We are never disapointed with the service, or any of the amenities provided. I used to travel a lot for work and have had my fill of cookie cutter hotels. The Frederick stands out as a unique gem, great rooms and plenty of charm. It also doesn't hurt that it is located in such a nice little town with plenty of activities to round out your stay. If you have the chance be sure to stay a Hotel Frederick and visit Glenn's Cafe for some amazing food and stop in the bar (my favorite spot) for a trip back in time.
Thank you for your thoughtful, professional staff! They went over and above normal service for us. We were traveling with a little dog, Harry, and he didn't like it when we went down for dinner at your awesome restaurant. We were going to order our food to go and take it back to our room to enjoy, but your check in lady watched him the entire time we were in the restaurant. He got to meet the bartender and most of the waitresses while we enjoyed an excellent, relaxing dinner. Our room was immaculate, the bathroom outstanding, and we enjoyed a quiet restful night. Thank you so much for an enjoyable stay. We would love to come back!
We enjoyed another stay this past weekend, complete with a fabulous meal at Glenn's Cafe. The old building is charming, the staff is extremely helpful, and the beds are comfortable. We will be back!
The Hotel Frederick was absolutely beautiful. It has more character in the lobby alone, than most hotels have in the entire building. It is a beautiful building overlooking the Missouri River in the most quaint little river town I have yet to find in the midwest. I was blown away by the staff. They were so kind. They gave me four rooms to look at and choose from, which was a huge courtesy that I was taken aback by, considering that in most places don't even get a choice, let alone give you a tour to check them out upon arrival. After reviewing the four rooms, I had the hardest time choosing since they were all so amazing. Once I got comfortable in the room, and ordered food from Glen's Cafe. The prices were sort of steep, so conservatively, I ordered the Pesto Chicken sandwich, and it was AMAZING! After a long day of travelling I was quite satisfied. The front desk warned me that it may be loud, and that they provide ear plugs for this reason. Around midnight, I was becoming concerned by the noise, since I was right above the restaurant and bar, but about the time I got tired, so did the guests and staff, and it quieted down to a tolerable level, no ear plugs necessary. One would expect an old building with lots of hard surfaces to be a bit noisy, so it was no problem, but out of consideration for my fellow guests, I'll leave the boots and high heals at home next time I visit. The continental breakfast was delicious. It was set in a cozy little room with a farmhouse table, which made for good conversation with other visitors. A few things I suggest for anyone interested in spending a night there; make sure the room you get has a jet tub. It was so relaxing. Maybe it was the wine, but the tub was the icing on the cake for me. It really made my stay. Oh, and the fridge kept the wine perfectly chilled. They are available upon request, so don't forget to inquire so that you can keep snacks and drinks in room. Enjoy your stay! And thank you, Hotel Frederick for an amazing little getaway. I was pleasantly surprised by the accommodations and the staff. I hope to see you again soon!
This month was our 4th anniversary of finding this jewel in Central Missouri. Since March of 2012 we have traveled to Boonville 9 or 10 times from South Dakota to enjoy the Hotel Frederick and Glenn's Cafe and Bar. We really enjoy Boonville and the quaint communities around the area. The entire staff of Hotel Frederick and Glenn's Cafe and Bar are fantastic as are the accomodations and food.
Wonderful hotel in a quiet town. VERY RELAXING! Each room has its own unique charm as well as modern upgrades. Our room had antique furniture and an air bath tub! If you're looking for a quiet and restful getaway, Hotel Fredrick is the place! I also highly recommend Glenn's Cafe on the main floor. Best fried chicken I've ever tasted!
Had another exhilarating stay at the Frederick. We will be back next month.
