karen of Louisville, KY writes… My new favorite

We stayed here while riding the KATY trail. The staff was wonderfully cooperative in helping to store the bikes. The AC in our room wasn't working, and we were quickly upgraded to a fabulous room- most comfortable bed I've ever slept in! Kat at the bar was attentive and made awesome drinks. The entire evening staff was wonderful! Walking into the lobby is like entering a time warp- it's been wonderfully preserved, yet updated with creature comforts to make for a wonderful stay. It's absolutely my new favorite hotel!

We took advantage of a Living Social offer to stay at the Hotel Frederick for the first time. It was a delightful experience for celebrating a 27th anniversary; like stepping back into a bygone era. Just writing this makes me smile.

The Hotel Frederick is gorgeous. It has a wonderful staff, a talented chef, an attentive and charming bartender and the front desk staff that was amazing. This is a hidden jewel. I recommend it highly.

This was our second say at Hotel Frederick. The staff is always very helpful and the rooms are nice. The restaurant is fabulous. It is a great location...close to the Katy Trail. We will be back sometime soon.

Mary of Mission Hills, KS writes… Lovely evening

Well-appointed room, large bathroom, good dinner of well-prepared catfish and sitting on the porch sipping an aperitif. Cheerful employees giving good service in an atmosphere of the renewed architecture of the early 1900's with modern updates for complete comfort!!

Terry of Kansas City, MO writes… A REPEAT GUEST !!!

We have been at the Fred several times; this one was for the Big Muddy Folk Festival.
The Staff knows us by first name and makes us feel welcome. The Lounge, The Fred
Dining Room, even the " Missouri Life " magazine people who rent space at the Hotel
are very cordial and helpful. Lynn is like a little sister and Jeremiah is like a little brother !
We have done everything possible touring Boonville and surrounding area as a tourist.
Now we will have to get creative for new experiences. One thing remains and that is
visiting the Prison in town to witness our " Puppies For Parole " program handled by the
prison staff and inmates. We work with the Saline Animal League out of Marshall, Mo.
and many of our dogs go through Puppies For Parole there and become adopted immediately !
Oh, we think Holly is trying really hard to make positive improvements. Specials through
living social or groupon are important to us. We look forward to our next visit !

Kurt of Wichita, KS writes… always stay here

I stay here whenever I am in town on business. it is a wonderful hotel, great staff, and so much more appealing than the chain motels I unusually frequent. I prefer the bar menu to the restaurant menu ( but that is my taste). I have never been disappointed at the "Fred"

We rode to Boonville on the KATY Trail and stayed at the Frederick. We do this several times a year and it is always fun. The room is nice, the bed is good, the breakfast is great, the staff is helpful and friendly, the food at The Fred is good, all in all a great experience.

The hotel was a study in old world charm.
The hotel restaurant was very good.
It made for a pleasant evening in an interesting old town.

Diane of Kansas City, MO writes… My Big Muddy Stay at the Frederick

I love staying at the Frederick because I can park my car right across the street when I arrive in town and I don't have to drive again until I head back home. I can walk 4 blocks down Main St. to all the venues for the Big Muddy clustered at Main and Vine.

I love the breakfast and venue--very European--not a sterile environment like a Super 8 breakfast venue.

I'll be back next year!
