Vicki of Saint Charles, MO writes… Amazing - Couldn't quit smiling!

My husband and I were blown away by the beauty of this rennovated hotel! The staff made us feel so at home and went out of their way to make sure we were comfortable. The heated floors and towel rack in the bathroom are awesome, not to mention the wonderful Jacuzzi tub. We explored Main Street without having to drive at all. Took a shuttle to the Casino and back and then relaxed in the Lounge with appetizers and night caps. Jeremiah, the bartender made us feel like old friends! The homemade baked goods the next morning topped off the best hotel experience I have ever had. Thanks to all!!!!

We stayed in room 4 for one night. The service was excellent. We had a unique situation where we needed to stick around a little after check out and they stored a few things and even brought out our possessions when we were getting ready to leave. If you're looking for completely silent night, then don't stay in room 4. However, our 6 month old and wife and I slept through all the sounds. Breakfast was great and the design of our room was cozy. Thanks Hotel Frederick!

Traci of Columbia, MO writes… Great as expected!

It was my second stay. I brought my 12 yr old for a mom/daughter night. The front desk gentleman was great at check in when we arrived. The lady that checked us out in the morning was wonderful. Great variety and a very homey feel to breakfast. We were cheerfully smiled at and greeted by housekeeping staff in the morning. We could not get either room we wanted bc of this last min plan. We missed the bigger jetted tub in those rooms. Instead we each took some time to ourselves in the smaller tub. There is great character, homeyness and inviting decor. My daughter loved it and I loved it even more. We will look for more opportunities to come back for sure. Loved the charm. The whole place was very clean yet cozy. It was nice to see the same really cool bartender we enjoyed mtg over the summer. We love this little gem. Traci Moore

Kristine of Fayette, MO writes… Fabulous Experience

My husband and I had an over night date at the Frederick. After enjoying a fabulous dinner at Fred served by a friendly, attentive server, we went to our room. The room was charming and appointed with antiques. We thoroughly enjoyed the Continental breakfast with many different choices of homemade breads, rolls, and fruit. Hopefully, we can do this again! If you haven't visited it, yet, make time...it will worth it!

Donna of Wentzville, MO writes… Dad's Birthday Weekend

This was the second year that we took Dad away to Boonville for his February birthday! Staying at the Hotel Fredrick is the icing on the cake. Always enjoy the bar area with family and friends and then a game of cards. The rooms are always clean and nostalgic with all the decor'! Love the goat milk soap with all the different aromas. Will definitely be back hopefully in the summer for warmer weather!
The Isle of Capris this year was pretty good to Dad for his birthday too!

Kristin of kitchener, -- writes… delightful surprise

Stopped here for a 1 night crash on our trip across the US. what a delightful surprise. The classic building has heen beautifully renovated to a wonderfully balanced mix of period and eclectically funky contemporary. The lobby bar was welcoming and hopping. We chose to have a light meal there after sinking into the comfy overstuffed chairs. Good menu, well prepared and served by friendly staff. We topped off our stay with a nice continental breakfast in the morning and we were on our way. What a great break in our journey.

Kristina of Bethany, OK writes… Wonderful stay!!

The staff here have been FANTASTIC!! Our little boy is sick and we are in the middle of a 1,000 mile trip. Everyone from the front desk to the servers to the chef have been VERY accommodating! The chef even made our son special food for his upset stomach! We ate in the lounge and were VERY pleased with the service and quality/quantity of food for the price!! The atmosphere is wonderful and the snow outside adds to the magic! Thank you guys for making our stay so memorable!!

We make the trip from Oklahoma to Ohio twice a year and will be adding te Hotel Frederick to the travel itinerary from now on!

Amy of Kansas City, MO writes… Aweome experience!

My 2 kids and I stayed for an overnight getaway. The room was great--love the heated tile floor in the bathroom! We had a drink and ate in the lounge. The server was very friendly and although she was very busy, gave everyone her attention and was very nice. The front desk people were very friendly. Was not expecting breakfast and there were many choices and everything was good! Christmas tree and decorations were very pretty. We enjoyed looking at the old photos on the walls and learning about the history of the hotel and Boonville. We would definitely recommend to others!

Phillip of COLUMBIA, MO writes… Hotel Frederick and The Fred and its staff can't be beat, but...a small heads-up...

We really needed to get away, and had a fantastic time at the Frederick. We love the room (#1--we always stay in that one), the food is great, and the staff was absolutely attentive. We assure you we will be back multiple times in the future.

Two things about Room #1:

There is a floor board by the window next to the bed that's split and about to break through.

One of the "aux" inputs (a yellow - "video") to the TV has a prong from an RCA cable broken off in it. We had to send the night manager to find us a replacement cable (which, of course, he did--promptly), which worked since there are two "aux" inputs, but now someone else doesn't have a cable. Also, we needed a DVD remote to be able to surf through DVD options; I didn't want to bother the help again, so we just watched the main feature.

NOT A DEAL BREAKER...we love this hotel.

Phil
