Q: Are you a pet friendly hotel?
A: Yes. We do allow dogs under 70 lbs. The pet fee is $25. We simply ask that your dog be kept on a leash in the common areas of the Hotel.
Q: Where do we park and is there a charge?
A: There is on street parking on High Street in front of the Hotel. We also have an overflow parking lot on the Southwest corner of Main and High Streets. There is no charge for parking.
Q: What is your tax rate?
A: Our sales tax rate is 8.225%. An additional local lodging tax of 5% is collected for overnight stays.
Q: What time is check-in and can we get into our room early?
A: Check-in is 4 pm. If you notify us that you are arriving early, we will make every effort to allow you to check-in early, depending on occupancy. We want your room to be perfect for you when you arrive!
Q: Do you honor AAA, active Military, government or other discounts?
A: We do not accept these discounts, however, we do negotiate group and business rates. Call us directly and we will be happy to discuss options with you.
Q: Your hotel is really old. Is it haunted?
A: Our hotel was built in 1905. It is quite spirited, just like its staff and guests.....you can decide for yourself.
Q: Is breakfast included?
A: Yes. We offer a very substantial complimentary continental breakfast each morning from 7am to 10am in our breakfast room down the hall from the lobby. It's a great place to meet friends and get to know our staff. Leaving early for a ride on the Katy Trail? Let our front desk attendant know the night before and we will do our best to have it out early for you! Hint: Be sure to try our homemade coffee cake and Lakota coffee.
Q: Are there irons and ironing boards in the rooms?
A: There are not, but we can have them delivered to your room upon request. We offer a wide variety of services and amenities—if you forgot something, just ask!
Q: Do you have laundry services on site?
A: We do not. If you are on a long trip or bike tour, there are laundromats nearby.
Q: What can we do while we are there?
A: How long do you have? You can rent bikes from our on site bike rental shop and tour the Katy Trail. You can visit historic sites, the Budweiser Clydesdales, do some shopping, check out the Isle of Capri Casino, visit nearby Arrow Rock, Rocheport and Blackwater. Or, curl up with a great book from our library, raid our game armoire, and of course indulge and unwind in our fabulous Revival Restaurant & Lounge.
